About us
Starfish Books was set up in 2004 to market books, cards and other designs by marine illustrator and author Claudia Myatt, including the popular Go Sailing series of books commissioned and published by the Royal Yachting Association. We sell to retail customers through our online shop and from Claudia's studio at home in Pembrokeshire. Enquiries from trade customers are welcome (contact page).
The name Starfish Books is inspired by son James optimist dinghy Starfish built for him by his dad.
Claudia lives in Pembrokeshire with husband Perry Crickmere and son James. The family boat 'Torhilda' is a 1933 Looe gaffer bought as a wreck and lovingly restored over 6 years. Launched in time for Brest 2004, Torhilda is now based at Milford Haven.
